Banyule Planning Scheme

Last updated: 31st July 2018 See recent amendments

Planning schemes are made up of maps and ordinance. The ordinance are the policies and written clauses and the maps depict where the zones and overlays apply within the planning scheme area.

This is a current copy of the planning scheme. If you are unfamiliar with using planning schemes, we suggest you read the User Guide first.

You should obtain advice from either a council planner or a planning professional before taking any action which may be affected by a planning scheme requirement.

Individual sections of the Banyule Planning Scheme are currently unavailable.

VC148 Planning Scheme update

The Victoria Planning Provisions and each Planning Scheme has been updated to include the changes introduced by VC148. The single combined PDF version of schemes on each page of Planning Schemes Online is up to date.

We are still updating the individual list links to each planning scheme section which is a large job that will be completed by mid August. The links to clauses have been temporarily disabled until the update is complete.

In the meantime, we suggest you use the combined PDF version. If you require a specific updated clause document, these can be provided on request by emailing
