Clause 52.03 Schedule and Clause 81.01 Schedule

The concept plans are the plans that are referred to in the planning controls that have been approved for the Apple store development in Federation Square. The planning controls comprise an Incorporated Document titled 'Project Core Building, Federation Square' that was approved under Amendment C314 to the Melbourne Planning Scheme in December 2017.

The concept plans will undergo design refinement and detailed development plans will be lodged with the Minister for Planning for approval. Before making a decision on the detailed development plans, the Minister is required to consult with the Melbourne City Council, the Office of the Victorian Government Architect, Federation Square Pty Ltd and Transport for Victoria, all of whom are key stakeholders in relation to development within Federation Square. The Minister must also be satisfied that the thirty-one conditions within the Incorporated Document have been satisfactorily addressed in the detailed design.
